- Applicant PAN and government-issued identity proof.
- Address proof of the applicant.
- Invention disclosure: a description of the invention, the problem it solves, how it works, and its advantages.
- Drawings, diagrams, flowcharts, or prototype photos, where available.
- Name, address and nationality of all inventor(s).
- Proof of right / assignment from the inventor(s), where the applicant is not the inventor.
- Startup recognition (DPIIT) or MSME / Udyam certificate, for reduced Government fees, where applicable.
- Business constitution proof (GST, Udyam, partnership deed, LLP or company documents), where the applicant is an entity.
- Power of Attorney (Form 26), where filing is done through the Lawyer / patent agent.
- Details of any corresponding foreign applications (for Form 3), where applicable.

Platform Fee — for administrative facilitation & Lawyer coordination
What the Platform Fee covers: This is the Company’s fee for administrative case-management, Lawyer availability coordination, document organisation support, scheduling, reminders, and follow-up. It does not include legal advice, patent filing, or any Government fee.
Lawyer’s Professional Fee: Any fee charged by the independent Lawyer for patent consultation, filing, or other legal services is entirely separate and is payable directly to the Lawyer under the Lawyer’s own terms.
Government / Patent Office Fee: The applicable statutory fee payable to the Patent Office is separate and is determined by the applicant category (natural person / startup / small entity / others) and the number of claims and pages, as prescribed under the Patents Rules, 2003.

Important: The Platform Fee of ₹2,250 is not the complete cost of patent registration. It does not include the Lawyer’s professional fee, the Government / Patent Office filing fee, or any other charges related to your patent matter. All such costs are additional and separate.
Additional / Separate Services
The following services are not covered under the Platform Fee or the initial Lawyer filing arrangement and are charged separately by the Lawyer:
- Prior-art / patentability searches and drafting of provisional or complete specifications and claims.
- Request for examination (Form 18) and replies to the First Examination Report (FER).
- Attendance at hearings before the Controller of Patents.
- Pre-grant / post-grant opposition proceedings.
- Annual renewal fees, amendments, and additional applications beyond the initial filing.
- Any other legal or professional service not covered in the initial scope.
